FOOD | SANDWICH SATURDAY!

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Welcome to Sandwich Saturday!!!
Ok, I just came up with that one.

Since I totally skipped Food Friday yesterday, I thought I should make it up to you today :)

So, in the last 2 weeks or so, I've been having sandwiches quite frequently, and I thought it would be nice to share with you my 3 favorite sandwiches.

So if you're looking for some food inspiration, all you need to do is keep reading!

Sandwich #01:  Egg Sandwich!

This is a great breakfast alternative in my opinion.  It's also easy and quick to prepare, which is great for morning time!

I basically made an egg on a frying pan, but I did not fry the egg, just added a little olive oil spray so that it wouldn't stick to the pan.  Then toasted my favorite bread.  I'm obsessed with this sandwich bread.  It's a whole wheat and sesame seeds variety, that already comes opened up to fill in with whatever you want.  Add a cup of coffee and voila!  You have a great breakfast there!

Sandwich #02:  Avocado Sandwich!

Avocado is a fruit I'm crazy about.  It's tasty, full of vitamins and if you're a vegetarian ( which I'm not ) you should know it's actually a great alternative to meat.

Besides from avocado and my fave wholewheat pita bread, this sandwich had mozzarella cheese,  tomato, Philadelphia cream cheese and pepper.  Loved it!

Sandwich #03:  Smoked Salmon !

You may already have read many food posts of me saying how much I love salmon.
In salads, sushi, or sandwiches... I just can't help it!  It tastes SO GOOOOOD!!!  Doesn't it?
Again, I used the same wholewheat sesame seeds pita bread, arugula, Philadelphia cheese and, of course, smoked salmon!

Did you enjoy this post?    A little?
Hope it inspires you to prepare something delicious to share with your loved ones.

  1. I'd definitely try the avocado and smoked salmon sandwiches. I love a delicious healthy sandwich. We often make sandwiches and subs from scratch here with the kiddies. It's a great way to bond and teach them about preparing healthy meals at an early age.

  22. That's another fave of mine, tuna sandwich! Yum! another very healthy alternative too. What do you add as a dressing to yours? Olive oil? Mayo? Nothing?

  23. No, Russian-born :)

  24. LOL Sorry! Ferra sounded like an italian surname! I've been to Russia! Lovely country! Amazing architecture!

  25. Glad you liked it! :)

  26. Most of the time nothing, because the tuna is already conserved in olive oil:) but sometimes I add mayonnaise which also has a great taste!
