BEAUTY | Deep Sea Cosmetics Body Salt Scrub Review

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Today I wanted to review one of my favorite body products the Deep Sea Cosmetics Body Salt Scrub.  I've been using this product for about 2 years now when I shower.

Unfortunately, not every time I shower and the reason is that I don't want to run out of it!
This is what I'd call a "luxury" product, not only because it is a bit pricey for me, but also because I feel a little pampered after using it.

Ok, so let's start from the beginning!  Deep Sea Cosmetics claims to make their products with Dead Sea minerals which, as you probably know, are famous for their healing properties.
For this particular product, Dead Sea Salt is used as an exfoliator.  So what I like to do is use it in the shower right while I'm waiting for my conditioner of hair mask to sit for a while.
I rub it gently against my entire body, specially my legs and feet that tend to need it more.

The best quality of this product is that...

it EXFOLIATES, MOISTURIZES & SOFTLY PERFUMES your skin in one single step.  You all know by now how much I LOVE products that solve a couple of things in one single step.  So while the Dead Sea Salt gets rid of any dry skin, the Aromatic Oils in it deeply moisturize and leave a gentle scent.

I'm crazy about this product simply because my legs and feet feel extremely soft after I use it!
I typically shower before going to bed, so it's just amazing how clean and soft my legs feel afterwards!

If you have dry body skin, I couldn't recommend it more!

As I said at the beginning of this post, if it wasn't for it's price ( around $32 USD at Amazon.com )  I would just use Dead Sea Cosmetics Body Salt Scrub every single day.

Now in reality, what I do is use it about once or twice a month and mostly during summer time when our legs and feet are more dry and more exposed, just to make the product last a little longer.
For that price, you get 500 grams or 15.8 ounces of product, but as it is a body product you do need quite a lot each time, so you can run out of it in just a few weeks if you use it every time you shower.

I'm very bad describing scents, but it does smell like the Sea but with a gentle and pleasant perfume.
I am very allergic and I have not experienced any rashes or breakouts in my body.

So I give it 2 thumbs up and will be repurchasing it, as long as it is financially possible for me.

I hope this review was helpful :)

Now YOU tell ME...  Do you have any body scrubs to recommend that are a little bit cheaper?

  1. I am a HUGE fan of St Ives Invigorating All Over Body Scrub - at £5.49 for 300g it is fantastic. I have sensitive skin and use it about once a week. The good thing with this one is that a little goes a very long way, and it is definitely in my price range xoxox

  2. I've tried St Ives Face Scrubs, there'e nice. But when my face's skin became so sensitive, had to discontinue! I love that you suggested the body scrub because I think it would be awesome and more affordable too! I was very concerned about the price of this scrub, because it's not something I can keep buying on a regular basis. My body's skin is not sensitive, so if it's working for you might work for me too! Thanks so much!!! <3

  3. I know you are south of the Equator, but having a look on Amazon.com I have found out it is even cheaper! ( http://www.amazon.com/St-Ives-Fresh-Invigorating-Apricot/dp/B000UVWGGA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1375870668&sr=8-2&keywords=st+ives+body+scrub). Absolutely fantastic price for a drugstore item. I would love to try out the Deep Sea Cosmetics one but like you said, it really is a treat thing, not something for every day or how often you would like to use it. I use it daily, and then use this moisturiserhttp://www.amazon.com/Red-Fox-Bottle-OButter-Butter/dp/B000EGOGAK/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1375870914&sr=1-1&keywords=red+fox+bottle+o+butter+cocoa+butter+lotion) - it does have parabens in it but my arms and legs don't seem to complain about it at all, it is only on my face that I have problems with things like that. The good thing with it is that a little bit goes a very long way and lasts for 24 hours. That is something I have heard claims of on products that have cost me up to $40/$50 and have come nowhere near. My husband runs (he was semi pro a while back) and he uses it on his legs to stop getting chapped legs and it works wonders. Where I live (the Isle of Man) we get a lot of wind and rain but this works a treat. Far too thick for the face, but great when you get out of a hot bath for arms and legs!

  7. Hi, I even have additionally tried a number of Paula's selection merchandise, some i favor, some not most. I truly did not like this moisturiser with spf that you just use. The packaging is incredibly offensive associated stony-broke that meant nothing was setting out and before that it left an uncomfortable layer on my skin. Also, spf15 isn't enough on behalf of me. i take advantage of her resist moisturiser with spf currently and am a lot of happier.

I have constant wash gel you employ and find it irresistible. I would like I had realized regarding this toner...I have the separate toner and bha from the skin equalization line.

Next time, i will be able to obtain the one you've got.

I love the moisturiser while not spf from the equalization line, though typically I realize it too drying. It lasts forever although, that is nice.

I still get several spots and that i have had a fairly smart skin care routine before exploitation laptop merchandise, however still less breakouts than with different lines.
