REAL LIFE | Meet Lola, my Exotic Shorthair kitten !

Happy Friday!
I'm so excited that Lola, my exotic shorthair kitten finally came home to live with us last Wednesday :)
As many of you may know, I'm a pet lover... and particularly I love cats!
When I lived at my parent's house, before I got married, I had a Siamese cat that I named Kitty.
She's the one on the left in the picture below.  At the right, you can see Agatha, she's my Mom's cat... but follows my Dad around every single moment of the day LOL

REAL LIFE | My May in Instagram Pictures :)

 Happy Monday!

May went by SO FAST!  Autumn started here in the southern hemisphere.
My hubby and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary and my fury and cute "gift" is on its way!

Here are my Instagrams for this month :)

BEAUTY | Perfectly Natural False Eyelashes! Review & Demo :)

 Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

This week I tried false eyelashes for the first time, so I wanted to share with you my experience.
I had only used individual fake lashes before, and in this case it was a full set by Salon Perfect.

I have to say I chose them specifically because the lash-line of these is trans-lucid, so I thought they would look more natural once applied.  The other thing I liked about these was that I it had different lengths of lashes.  Shorter and thinner ones alternated with longer and thicker ones.  And then shorter ones in the inner corner to longer ones in the outer corner.  That mix and distribution, in my opinion, are perfect to achieve a natural, glamorous and feminine look.

Here's a close-up picture...  What do you think?

BEAUTY | TOP 7 Beauty Sins! Are you guilty?

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Many of us have been guilty  of some of these at some point or another.

Here are the top 7 Beauty Sins, I suggest we avoid at all costs to stay gorgeous!

#7 ♥ Rubbing your eyes!
No matter if you're removing eye makeup or applying concealer...  ALWAYS DUB and NEVER RUB!  The skin around your eyes is incredibly sensitive.  That's also why the first wrinkles usually appear in this area.  Be gentle to delay their appearance.  Use sunglasses and a good eye cream every night as soon as in your early or mid 20s.

#6 ♥ Dying your hair black!
Ok, I confess I'm completely GUILTY of this one!  When I was in my 2nd or 3rd year of University, I remember many friends had repeatedly advised to dye my hair BLACK.  They just thought my greenish blue eyes would contrast amazingly with super dark hair.  So I finally made up my mind and did it!  It's only hair I thought, I can always dye it back.  Going from super blond to black hair was a shock!  It looked ok, but no matter how many compliments I got, when I looked at the mirror I thought "this is NOT me!".  I had highlighted my hair since I was 14 years old!  It's ONLY hair I thought, I'll just easily go back to blond...  WRONG!  Once you've dyed your hair BLACK, going back is a nightmare and super damaging to your hair.  You need to go through a process called decapage that includes a lot of bleaching.  The morals of the story are:  First, going darker is easier and less damaging than going lighter :) And second,  if you must go darker, choose a dark BROWN hair color, and AVOID BLACK!

BEAUTY | My May Wishlist!

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!
Every girl has things in the back of her head that she'd like to buy... but can't...  at least not just yet!

So I thought why not just share with you my wishlist for this month... maybe by the "law of attraction" some of these will come my way :)

Let's begin!

The first item in my wishlist, is this white Broadway / Hollywood Vanity mirror.  I would just LOVE to have one of these.  The one I like is unfortunately not sold in my country.  It is actually from a company  called Vanity Girl Hollywood that specializes in these types of mirrors. Isn't it gorgeous?!

The next item in my wishlist is this gorgeous Tiffany & Co BraceletYou've probably seen it many times.  It's design  is quite famous, I believe. Made of silver and with that signature heart charm hanging.  This exquisite piece of jewelry costs $350 USD according to Tiffany's website. A lot of good taste... so little money < LOL >
But, just FYI,  surfing Amazon.com I found a "Tiffany inspired one" for $29.99.  There is a resemblance, but... well Tiffany is Tiffany *sigh*.  Maybe some day!

Moving on, my third item is the 2 broke girls pearl necklace.  Do you like that show?  I watched the Season I, and I thought it was fun.   Well, anyways.... while watching the show I couldn't help staring at Caroline's statement necklace.  In fact I really like to match pearls with more casual outfits.  I researched for a little while online but couldn't find the name of the designer of the original piece.
I did find an inspired version of this necklace on Etsy for $19.80 USD.  I haven't seen it or touched it, but in the picture it looked good quality to me.  What do you think?

Update:  I recently joined the Sigma Affiliates Program.  This image has an Affiliate Link which means that if you click and buy something from Sigma, I will get a small commission (free to you).  Clicking on my Affiliate link is up to you, but I would appreciate your support :)
Third item in my wish list is Sigma's Mrs. Bunny Travel kit... I've been meaning to get a set of brushes, but not being a professional makeup artist, I don't really need to have dozens of them, since I probably wouldn't use them either.  I think this set is perfect for me!  Its size, its colors, it's cool leather packaging that can be used to carry your brushes when you travel or to display them everyday in your counter or vanity and the price sounds fairly reasonable too. And, on top of all that, it's a 100% vegan brush set.  This one is certainly a purchase I'll try to make real soon!

Fourth item in my wishlist are these new Benefit powder boxes. Oh, I would collect them all!  I've already fallen in love with two of them that have become Holy Grail products for me ( Benefit Hoola and Benefit 10) you can see me using them in my Highlighting & Contouring Tutorial.  Now, I've got my eyes set on these ones:

BEAUTY | Deep Sea Cosmetics Body Salt Scrub Review

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Today I wanted to review one of my favorite body products the Deep Sea Cosmetics Body Salt Scrub.  I've been using this product for about 2 years now when I shower.

Unfortunately, not every time I shower and the reason is that I don't want to run out of it!
This is what I'd call a "luxury" product, not only because it is a bit pricey for me, but also because I feel a little pampered after using it.

Ok, so let's start from the beginning!  Deep Sea Cosmetics claims to make their products with Dead Sea minerals which, as you probably know, are famous for their healing properties.
For this particular product, Dead Sea Salt is used as an exfoliator.  So what I like to do is use it in the shower right while I'm waiting for my conditioner of hair mask to sit for a while.
I rub it gently against my entire body, specially my legs and feet that tend to need it more.

The best quality of this product is that...

FOOD | What is the Paleolithic Diet ?

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

This week, I focused one more time in eating a lot healthier.
I guess by now you're used to reading about my chats with my nutritionist.
Last time, we discussed about how our modern society has highly processed food around each corner. With the hectic lives we all live, it is so easy to make a mistake and go for junk/fast food.

I had noticed how, when I only went for plain and unprocessed foods, my weight was stable or even dropped easily.  "Imagine cavemen"  I said to her "they went hunting, or cultivated their food.
In nature, there is no bread, cakes, pasta or chocolate.  There is meat, vegetables, grains and foods.
So nowadays, not only do we not not hunt nor cultivate, but we sit in front of a computer most of the day.  Gaining weight seems to be just the obvious consequence".

She agreed with me and then, to my surprise...

INNER BEAUTY | Celebrity Beauty Icons' Inner Beauty Quotes

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Happy delayed Motivation Monday :)
Here's a little inspiration to start the week thinking a little bit on how beautiful we are inside!

They were, are and will be symbols of style and fashion.  These celebrity beauty icons have made men sigh and inspired generations of women.  But even THEM, these gorgeous women, expressed the importance of Inner Beauty and how personality, attitude, self confidence, amongst other things are key to create beauty within ourselves.

These are a couple of my favorite Celebrity Inner Beauty quotes:

BEAUTY | HOWTO: RED LIPS! Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss (Review & Tutorial)

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

I just uploaded a very quick tutorial for red lips, starring Rimmel's Lasting Finish lipstick by Kate Moss in shade #107.
For a very long time, I thought red lips were not for me.  That's why I don't generally wear red lipstick. But this new Lasting Finish line, which I bought at the drugstore a couple of weeks ago, just captivated me!
Yes! I was seduced to figure out a way to make red look good on my thin lips.
And now that I have... best thing I could do is share it with you guys too!
Even if you don't have thin lips, this product's demo and tips may also apply to you too, of course ;)

FOOD | Food Friday! Veggies & Cakes

 Happy Friday my Inside-Out Beauties!

Today is Food Friday!  And I wanted to share with you the most delicious food dishes I ate this week.

First, here's a picture of a Special Salad.  It had cucumbers, Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheese, Ham and Tomatoes!
As dressing I used olive oil, vinegar, salt & pepper.

Next, comes the sweets!!!  I think this is the first time I share a sweet or dessert with you.  I guess the reasons are that I don't bake much and that I don't have a sweet tooth, so most of times I could go days or weeks without having something sweet.
Also, to be honest, sweets and carbs make me gain weight real fast, so I try to have them only sporadically, to avoid getting addicted to them :)

That said, I'm human!  And of course I have sweet treats from time to time and I enjoy them very much too!  This is a typical Argentinian Ricotta Cheese Cake my Mom bought for me and my husband on our last family gathering.

Hi my Inside-Out Beauties!

Today I'm sharing with you a demo on one of my favorite Benefit products:  Benefit Lemon aid.
What I love about this creamy concealer is that I can use it to conceal & highlight my under-eye area.

So, here's what you should know before purchasing Benefit Lemon aid...

LOVE | How to Survive a Long Distance Relationship ! PART 01

When I first started dating my husband, we had a couple of months in which we were geographically apart and this was SO difficult for me.  One day I'll tell you the story in more detail.  The point is being in love and apart can be quite challenging for us women.  In fact I have friends and readers who are going through this right now, but they don't seem to get all the support or understanding they need.

That's why one day it just hit me... I need to write a couple of posts or stories on this subject.
TheInsideOutBeauty Blogazine & Channel were created to share different opinions on every topic important to us women.  The things we LOVE and the things we're deeply concerned about too!

Maintaining a long distance relationship takes a lot of courage, a lot of self confidence, a lot of trust and, most importantly... A LOT of love!  All of which are ingredients to a person's inner beauty.

So I thought it would be very interesting to have the testimony and advice from someone who is currently in a long term long distance relationship...  and is actually making it work!

I could be really dramatic and start by telling you something like "The biggest lie we've been told growing up, is that life is a one way street".
